Vegan Thousand Island Dressing

I never thought that I would make a recipe for dressing. Seriously. I guess I was just content with picking it up from the store. But today I got creative and daring.

Here is a sauce that is just like thousand island dressing...it's vegan. I was excited at the prospects of this because I am not too fond of the non-vegan kind, but this one...yum.

You can use it on salads, sandwiches, veggies, or whatever your creative mind can think of.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Follow Your Heart Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise
2 tbsp of organic ketchup
2 tsp vegan cane sugar
2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 -1/4 tsp finely minced white onions
1/8 tsp Celtic sea salt
1/8 tsp ground white pepper

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well or place in a food processor to mix.

Place it in a container in your refrigerator until it is made cool and all ingredients have mixed and settled together well.

This makes a little less than one cup of dressing.

Well that is great. Hope you enjoy the recipe. I actually edited out the vinegar. Try not to do too much of that stuff, plus with the vegenaise you do not need it. Happy cooking to you :)
