Spiced Vegan Remoulade

My husband has always said that "the sauce is the boss". This means basically that sauces make or break a meal (often times). And aren't I glad I listened and started experimenting!

If you love a tartar sauce and enjoy the kick of spice, this is something that you can add to your dishes. Its remoulade.

Remoulade, as Wikipedia put it (so as to save me time explaining):
Invented in France, is a popular condiments in many countries. Very much like the tartar sauce of some English speaking cultures, remoulade is often aioli, or mayonnaise-based. Although similar to tartar sauce, it is often more yellowish (or reddish).
Remoulade is great with zucchini faux crab cakes, hush puppies, croquettes, sandwiches, etc. This sauce is bold, flavorful, and will for sure wow your friends as a favorite.

What's cool? I made this sauce vegan! I hadn't found one and I am so excited about this! Isn't it pretty?

Ingredients:

1 cup(s) of Earth Balance® Soy Free MindfulMayo
    4 tbsp. of mustard

    1 pinch of white pepper
    1 pinch of cayenne
    1 tbsp. of capers (optional)

Ummmm... so are you going to share the recipe, or are you just showing what you can do. Nice blog! Have you ever considered including calorie and fat content. Just a thought. That is always a kicker for me whether I will make it or even more eat it!! Everything looks fantastically tempting.

Hello! Thanks for commenting. Yes I did post the recipe. It was just apart of a contest so I did not post until after the contest! As far as calories and fat content. Perhaps I will do that once I compose a cookbook, but not for the website (sorry). It takes a lot of time. However there are websites that you can plug the info in and get the content. I can assure you that vegan is much better off than not though. Thanks for the complements and enjoy!
