Avocado Green Fitness Smoothie


Avocados are actually considered to be one of the worlds most healthiest fruits. Yes a fruit, and yes very very healthy for you. Especially if you are into working out and are looking for some healthy fats in your diet.

I must admit that early on in my "healthful living" experience, I was not particularly fond of avocados.

Don't get me wrong, I loved guacamole, but just eating an avocado - no way.

What was the real reason? I was not picking the good ripe and ready avocados!

Ripe.
Soft.
Creamy.
Buttery-flavored ones.

So as a result, I did not have a great experience.

But! Now that I know how to pick them, I love them!

They are amazing in salads, on sandwiches, on nachos, in burritos, in scrambles, in quinoa, on top of chili, and even in smoothies.

Hope that you gain a greater appreciation for avocados in your experience, especially after trying this yummy smoothie.

Ingredients:

1 cup cold dairy free milk
1 1/2 cup baby spinach
1 1/2 to 2  ripe frozen banana (must be frozen)
1 ripe avocado, washed, peeled, and pitted
1 handful of ice
1 tsp milled flax
a squeeze of agave (optional)

Directions:

Add all ingredients in blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.

Trust me. It will be smooth and creamy!
